Place Design Scotland launches webinar series

A WEEKLY series of webinars is being launched by a new website, seeking to crowdsource content to make our places in Scotland better.

placedesignscotland.com has just launched - with a huge amount of pre-launch archive - and comprises news, comment, and features on place-related issues in the country. The website covers a range of placemaking issues - from community and environment, through to housing and town and city design. 

The webinar series kicks off at midday on June 21, with Matt Baker, the well-known co-founder of The Stove Network, in Dumfries, a trailblazer in community arts, culture and activism. All webinars will be Q&A, based on editorial uploaded in advance. They will be recorded, to create a webinar archive (again for members only).

Access to the webinars requires membership of Place Design Scotland, and membership costs as little as £12/year. To specifically attend Matt Baker’s webinar requires becoming a member by June 16, so that the joining, Zoom link can be issued in good time.
