Shaping Places

Shaping Places

The Shaping Places exhibition supports the launch of David Adams and Steve Tiesdell’s final collaborative publication. The book argues that public authorities should seek to shape, regulate and stimulate development so that developers, landowners and funders see real benefit in creating better places. Design is seen as a key vehicle to make this happen.

The aim of the exhibition is to promote the key themes of Shaping Places, and invites debate about how to achieve better places on the ground, particularly in terms of the current development context. The exhibition will also showcase a selection of Steve Tiesdell’s extensive image library, which his family have bequeathed as an open learning resource.

A seminar to mark the launch of the exhibition will be held on September 6th. For more details click here.
